From time to time, I will write about life, art, and the things that spark my imagination. And, just in case you were wondering, I’m completely drawn to time-worn elements, theater, dance, music, flowers, and books.
It is hard to believe that November is almost over, and my second year of Holiday Cheer is coming to a close. For me, selecting the perfect gift to give away, the creative projects for the weekly demo, and the free art lesson have been so much fun to plan. Thank you for sharing your time with me, your beautiful artwork, and your kind words.
This week, I am taking a little pause from the Holiday Cheer festivities to prepare for Thanksgiving. We will be having a big family dinner on Thursday at my mother-in-law's home. It is the home where Marc grew up and where we all gather for every Holiday. We enjoy delicious food, conversation, football, and a lot of laughter.
This morning, I was standing at my kitchen window, enjoying my coffee and lost in thought—thoughts about preparing for next week's Thanksgiving festivities.
It was so much fun pulling together a color palette for my Holiday gifts, repurposing ribbons, gathering greenery from my yard, and adding a small painting to the packages for a special touch.
