From time to time, I will write about life, art, and the things that spark my imagination. And, just in case you were wondering, I’m completely drawn to time-worn elements, theater, dance, music, flowers, and books.
I love putting together gift baskets for special people in my life. Taking the time to shop for the items with someone in mind and then putting it together is a beautifully creative process and fills me with the holiday spirit. I usually select one specialty item and then build around it with fun goodies.
Since I'm in the "Holiday Cheer" mode these days, I wanted to put together something that would bring joy and cheer to the recipient. My specialty item is a beautiful, handmade piece of pottery from a local artist.
From there, I selected a package of hot chocolate, tea, a gourmet chocolate bar, shortbread cookies, a couple of bubbly, and a small Christmas ornament.
I filled the basket with evergreens, pinecones, jingle bells, and little twinkle lights.
