The Artist Collective brings together visual artists of all styles and varying levels of creativity. Artists who love painting, drawing, or mixed media are welcome to join this creative space to learn, share knowledge and inspiration, and support one another on the path to artistic fulfillment.
This membership is both a creative community and a personal exploration of creating art in a style that reflects how you see the world. You will learn to trust your instincts and move towards the art you want to make.
The mission behind the Artist Collective is to empower the artist through creative lessons to examine the creative process. The process is how art comes to be and how the artist's style and voice are revealed. It is the only way for artists to enjoy creating art without being consumed by the outcome.
The work you will do in the Artist Collective will be about process. There will be Creative Lessons to jump-start your studio work, engage your imagination, and make you think. You will create, problem-solve, discover, and learn rather than produce a final perfect piece of art. By working in this manner, you will eventually stumble upon a finished piece of art.
You will soon build a visual language of marks, lines, colors, textures, and colors that reflect your point of view as an artist. The tools, the paint, the marks, and the imagery will build up to a beautiful moment of chance when you step back and finally see what you've been looking for all along.

My years of teaching and creating have made me aware of the obstacles we all face as artists. By taking action to break these barriers down, you will gain momentum in your creative practice and follow your path toward artistic growth, leading you to eventually build a visual language representing your point of view as an artist.
It is for this reason that I am forming The Artist Collective. I hope to serve as your teacher, mentor, and fellow artist by laying a foundation to give you the tools to overcome self-imposed limitations, gain confidence in your creative process, and expand your relationship with your artwork.
Every month, new "Members-Only" content is delivered to enhance and inspire your practice without overwhelming or distracting you from your artwork. In addition to monthly content, there is a private (non-social media) Artist Community for members to connect, ask questions, and support one another.
By surrounding yourself with a like-minded community of committed creatives, you will experience a transformation in how you approach your artwork. You will gain a newfound sense of confidence, purpose, and artistic direction that will take you toward creating the art you've always wanted to make.

WHAT TO EXPECT EACH MONTH
Below is an example of what will be offered monthly.
Creative themes and lessons will change monthly to get you thinking and, most importantly, creating.
THE ARTIST COLLECTIVE MAGAZINE: You will receive a beautiful (digital) magazine filled with art and inspiration every month.
CREATIVE LESSON: Pre-recorded and not to exceed 60 minutes - the lesson aims to get you thinking, working, reflecting, and spending time with the ideas introduced. I encourage you to follow your heart and take whatever you need from the lesson to move closer to your art.
ART SCHOOL: To satisfy our thirst for knowledge. It will be anything from studying the Old Masters, Art History, Art Supplies, and Art Techniques. I anticipate this being so much fun!! Who doesn't want to go back to art school??
ONE MONTHLY LIVE SESSION COFFEE & ART (via Zoom). Grab a cup of coffee or tea, and whatever you want to work on, and for one hour, we can chat and create together. I will share different supplies and art processes and answer questions during our time together.
PRIVATE COMMUNITY: The community is not part of social media. It will be a space to share your work, ask questions, and connect with other artists. I will be present in the community three days a week.
