Birthday Gifts

I've thought a lot about my gifts as I ease into another year. I want to celebrate all the beauty I have in my life as my next birthday rolls around. 

I want to do "all the things"! And when I reflect on my life, as I do every birthday, I've always been this way. 

When I was younger, I was more unsure about my gifts, and there were a lot of insecurities surrounding what I felt drawn to do in my life and what was expected of me. The one thing I did know was that I had a burning desire to create, and I had ideas! Big beautiful ideas that I wanted to put into the world

I've learned that there comes a point when we need to lean into our gifts and give them the space and the honor they deserve. They make us unique, make our way of creating authentic, our lives fuller, and our souls complete.

We all are destined to create, it is intrinsic to who we are and the goodness we can bring to our world. Creativity comes down to how you live your life. It is in the care that goes into your home, your meals, how you arrange flowers, wrap a gift, or put a brush on a canvas. 

Your way of creating is unique to you. When you allow yourself to connect with that beautiful creative current that runs through you, incredible things will happen. Your giftings can't be replicated, as they are yours alone. And when the time comes to share your gifts, you make more space inside your heart for more inspired thoughts, ideas, and that incredible feeling of fulfillment — something we all deserve to feel.

If I were to list my gifts, they would be kindness, compassion, nurturing, generosity, teaching, inspiring others, and cultivating ideas that can turn into something beautiful. 

Looking at our gifts, writing them down, and honoring them makes us stronger and more confident in moving forward and doing what we're meant to do in our lives.
