Mixed Media Portrait
Single Lesson
Regular Price: $42.00
One of the most loved and mesmerizing of classical ballets, Swan Lake, was composed by Tchaikovsky in 1875, and over 100 years later, it remains a favorite with ballet companies regularly performing it throughout the world.
This timeless love story weaves together magic, tragedy, and romance into four acts. It features Prince Siegfried and a lovely swan princess named Odette. Under the spell of an evil sorcerer, Odette spends her days as a swan swimming on a lake of tears, and her nights in her beautiful human form.
In this course, we will take our inspiration from this beautiful fairy tale and famous ballet. I will share with you how to develop an inspired color palette, layout a portrait in charcoal, and then add acrylics and pastels to create a luminous portrait of Odette.
This class also includes an art supply video where I share with you all the materials and brands that I use to create the portrait.
In addition, I have also included a bonus video where I discuss my philosophy on developing your style as an artist. I will share with you my approach to practice along with a few fun exercises that you can incorporate into your creative practice.
