Course Details

Gathering inspiration is half the fun when it comes to creating art. And when you add a beautiful vine of morning glories, quotes from Berthe Morisot, and color inspiration from the Impressionists, you have everything you need to create a rich and meaningful art journal page spread.

Layer upon layers of paint, delicate sketches, pastel touches, and handpainted collage paper will turn your blank page into a work of art.

I love using my art journal to capture ideas, document experiences, and experiment with colors and textures. Join me as we get messy, ignore perfection, and create beautiful art from a deeply personal place to you and you alone.

I will encourage you to look around your studio and use the paint, tools, and other art supplies on hand, get messy and use your imagination.

Art Supplies

I will encourage you to look around your studio and use the paint, tools, and other art supplies on hand, get messy and use your imagination.

I always use what I have in my studio when creating in my art journal. I look for supplies, tools, paper ephemera, and other materials that I already have on hand - it is an excellent way to use up forgotten tubes of paint and other supplies that may be hiding in my art stash.

You can dive in when inspiration hits without rushing to the art store to buy something new.

I will share every supply I use, but feel free to substitute away and make it your own in this class.

Get messy, and have fun!
